My particular interest is in sourcing things that use ancient techniques in a modern way.
We have plant-dyed silks, paintings created from madder root and distemper by young artists Luke George and Elizabeth Rose, and scented room diffusers made from plant oils..
All our ethically and fair traded products are meticulously sourced, so that they fall into the stylish yet unpretentious look of the shop: the feeling is entirely contemporary and soulful.
As my customers know, my shop is more than a shop to me, it is a place where people can come for a chat, to discuss ideas, and for solace from the greed driven culture that is revealing itself daily as a failing way of thinking.
